Ronald Tom, DDS

Dr. Tom graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry located in
San Francisco California where he received his Doctorate in Dental Sciences. Upon graduation
Dr. Tom entered as an associate with Dr Arthur Burke located in Torrance California. Upon
Burke's retirement in 1987, Dr. Tom fulfilled a life long desire to have his own dental
practice.

Over the course of 26 years of practice, Dr. Tom has designed two dental offices with the
latest recently finished in May of 2008.  "The overall goal was to create an environment
with the latest state of the art dental equipment which enables the delivery of dental care
to our patient's in maximum comfort and peace of mind", states Dr. Tom in a recent
interview. One of Dr. Tom's many attributes that helped him create such an office is his
attention to detail. Uncompromising attention to detail has helped him in his career as well

Another passion of Dr.Tom's  is volunteering as a dentist at the Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine free clinic.  The clinic provides dental and medical services to those in our community hit by the economic crisis. 

Dr. Tom's goal for his practice has been to provide outstanding care which is affordable and
meets the individual needs of each of his patients.  To make this all possible,  his staff is
dedicated to help patients with all their insurance needs.

Dr. Tom is married and has a sixteen year old daughter named Lauren.  Dr. Tom's
dogs Coco and Fluffy round out his pack.

Dr. Sho Izumi is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Sho has been in private practice for the past 4 years in the South Bay. She has been with our practice since early 2018. Married last fall to her husband Chris, they currently reside in the South Bay. 

Dr. Sho has been a tremendous addition to our staff. Dr. Sho's gentle demeanor and excellent clinical skills provide our patients a high level of care which is expected in a private practice dental office. Currently she practices on Thursdays to help us on our busiest day of the week when we have 2 hygienists in the office. Regardless of which day of the week, you will get the attention you deserve from Dr. Sho to insure your dental needs
are met.
